- LATrE
LATrE is a new addition to the evolving Junction neighbourhood. The store concept required subtle, warm, yet very functional elements that tied the store together from end-to-end, while accentuating the very carefully curated collection of eclectic objects that range from reworked garments, locally-made crafts, to military collectibles.
The design response was to work with the client to produce fixtures that are as expressive and crafted as the collection in the store, yet using tones & details that do not compete with the store’s offerings for attention. The result is a space that is personal and intimate, and feels more akin to a gallery than a retail store.
